Ask a questionBefore your appointment
Before you book
Booking, costs, clinic access and what to expect.
What happens at my first appointment?
Your first appointment includes a discussion of your symptoms and goals, a thorough assessment, and an explanation of the findings. We’ll discuss a treatment plan with you and begin appropriate treatment.
How do I book an appointment?
Use the online booking portal to see available clinic times and choose Manchester or Stockport. You can also call 07545 826996 if you would like to speak to us before booking. The enquiry form is available for questions.
How much does treatment cost?
All services cost £70 per 1-hour session, except running and biomechanical analysis, which costs £90 per 1-hour session. Payment is due at each appointment unless otherwise agreed.
Can I claim through private medical insurance?
We work with most major medical insurers. If you wish to pay using medical insurance, please check with the clinic before booking to confirm that your insurer and treatment are covered. You should also check your policy and obtain any required authorisation from your insurer before your appointment.
What if I need to cancel or rearrange?
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange. Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a fee, which will be communicated at booking or in advance.
Which clinic should I choose?
Appointments are available at V1BE, 75 Mosley St, Manchester M2 3HR on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and at Peter Bennett Physiotherapy, 3 Offerton Lane, Offerton, Stockport SK2 5AA on Wednesday. Free patient parking is available at the Stockport location.
Can I discuss accessibility or other requirements?
Yes. Please contact us before booking to discuss clinic access, any specific requirements and reasonable adjustments for your appointment.
Do I need to be sporty to book?
No. We see people with everyday pain and reduced mobility as well as sports injuries. Assessment, treatment and exercises are adapted to your needs and goals.
What might my treatment involve?
Treatment may include manual therapy, deep tissue massage, muscle scraping, rehabilitation exercises, or biomechanics-led training, depending on your assessment. We’ll explain the recommended approach and what you can work on between appointments.
